As of Autumn 2020, the engine is more-or-less complete.

The motion guards and gear guards are painted and ready for fitting, but until I’ve finished fiddling about, there’s no point fitting them, only to have to keep taking them off.

I’ve bought some nameplates, fitted to the motion guards. I’ve named the engine “Midge”. Small with a nasty bite? No, it’s named in honour of my dad.
